What beauty. I saw clouds and their light shadows on the distant dear earth… The water looked like darkish, slightly gleaming spots… When I watched the horizon, I saw the abrupt, contrasting transition from the earth's light-colored surface to the absolutely black sky. I enjoyed the rich color spectrum of the earth. It is surrounded by a light blue aureole that gradually darkens, becoming turquiose, dark blue, violet, and finally coal black.

Let me explain what is behind the term “average salary”. The average salary is:
- Gross: 20,841CZK (~720€)
- Net: 15,670CZK (~540€)
- The employer's cost: 28,136CZK (~970€)
which means 1.76 times more than you earn!
This “stealing rate” is more visible if your income is equal to … let's say… average German salary:
- Gross: 46,000CZK (~1600€)
- Net: 31,600CZK (~1100€)
- The employer's cost: 62,100CZK (~2150€)
that means no fewer than 1.96 times more than you earn!
For some reason most (all?) european governments think that progressive taxation is a good idea. Well, I don't think that I can change it but the government shouldn't hide the fact the the taxes are actually much higher than the employees think!

Většina mých kamarádů o mně často s úsměvem říká, že myslím jako chlap. Když jde ale o toho jednoho, tak nemyslím jako chlap, nemyslím ani jako normální žena, ale jako slepice. To je, v kombinaci s mnou přirozenou výbušností, dost nesnesitelná kombinace. A protože ať dělám, co dělám, vždy to končí katastrofou, tak si tu teď veřejně sypu popel na hlavu.
Nevím, jaké procento návštěvníků je ze ženské části populace, ale i pro pány to bude asi hodně veselé čtení. První problém je, že když muž něco říká, myslí to většinou přesně tak. Když něco říká žena, je za tím tucet dalších informací. Takže když přijdu s nabídkou baletu v Národním divadle, tak nečekám: „Nešlehne to se mnou?” Chápu, že to asi není ideální program na sobotní večer, ale ani já nevím, co od toho čekat. Na druhou stranu, odpověď na to asi není: „Tobě na mně vůbec nezáleží!”
Dalším problémem je práce. „Nemám čas, mám spoustu práce.” Strašná věta. Pro muže znamená: „Nemám čas, mám spoustu práce.” Pro většinu žen pak: „Jako bych já práci neměla a udělám si na něj čas, on mě nemá dost rád.” A spor je na světě. Myšlení asi nezměníme, můžeme se ale dohodnout.
Takže má rada pro všechny stejně postižené zní: Než začnete ječet, tak počítejte do deseti. A přestaňte kvokat. Vy, pánové, říkejte nám častěji, že nás máte rádi. Pak to snad přežijeme ve zdraví.
